INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTIONWORLD WAR IOne of the very last Heavy Horse centres remaining in the UK, this award-winning conservation farm is home to large working horses such as the Shire, Clydesdale, Suffolk Punch, Percheron and Ardennes.
Unravel the history of the faithful heavy horses which powered man for generations before and during the Industrial Revolution.
A range of talks and presentations take place throughout the day, and the farm is also host to lots of other animals including miniature Shetland ponies, donkeys, alpacas, pygmy goats plus chickens, ducks, ferrets and more!
The entry fee also includes rides on horse-drawn vehicles, tractor trailers and even miniature pony carriage rides. Plus, students can visit the vintage fairground rides, an adventure play park, pedal go-karts and tractors and various play spaces.
