ELIZABETHANSGARDENSREFORMATIONTUDORS / HENRY VIIIAthelhampton Hall was built in the 15th century to replace an older dwelling known as Pidele, recorded in the Domesday Book. The West Wing and Gatehouse were added in the 16th century and various smaller extensions and refurbishments took place over the next 300 years.
Today, Athelhampton is quite possibly the finest example of a Tudor Manor to be found in England.
The usual offering is a self-guided and self-paced tour of the house and gardens, however we can request a talk or tour if your group has a special interest.
Athelhampton House & Gardens is ideal for all ages
